I'm loving these too much. :)

I've shared a couple of pages already made with Sara Ellis's Template Tools - Nelly...and now I've gone and made two more! These were also made with her new kit Bloomin' Blossoms:

Here's what I did with it this time:

If you like these templates, hurry on over to Scrappity-Doo-Dah - they're available in a special iNSD grab bag with lots more of her templates for just $4! The kit is also newly released and only $1.75. If only iNSD came more than once a year!

Very Girly

Yep, that's what most of my LOs are, to be sure. And JanetB Designs is a designer right after my own heart with her Very Girly kit:

Here's another addition to Rachael's P365:

And one more of her when she was a bit older:

I didn't even show off half of what this kit can do in these two pages...all of the green and orange would make it perfect for spring and summer pages too! Very Girl is available at Digi Scraps Drive-In for $5.00.

Kicking off iNSD!

Happy (inter)National Scrapbook Day...a little early. I think Saturday is officially the big day, but any digi scrapper worth her salt knows that this is a weekend long event. :)  The first of "my" designers to roll out something special for the big day was LawTeeDa Designs with her new kit A Little Bit of Me:

Isn't it pretty?! It inspired me to finally get back on track with Rachael's P365...I'm only a little behind where I ought to be now. (Oops.)

And since the name of the kit was just so perfect:

It's available now at ScrapMatters! :)

Way Back Wednesday

Okay, so the pics I've just scrapped aren't from that way back - not quite four years, but it still seems like a long time ago. I found some pics of my then-two-year-old Rachael (holy cow! the same age that her sister is now!) at our church's VBS, and thought they'd go wonderfully with the latest collab from Graham Like the Cracker and Geek Chic, When the Wind Blows:

I used two nifty templates from Template Tools - Nelly by Sara Ellis (coming soon to Scrappity-Doo-Dah!) to make these:

I sooo need to go buy a kite or two just to use the awesome kit elements in this kit! It was released today at Gingerscraps for just $3.90!

School Daze

Spring is finally here and I'm happy to be scrapping bright, sunny pictures again - and the kit Bright Little Girl by Mad Genius Designs was an obvious choice to scrap them with:

Want a sneak peek at how we do school in our house? :)

Well, every day isn't that much fun...but most of them are! Both of these pages were made with Template Set Split Up by Le Pingouin Designs, which will be available soon at Digital Scrap Cafe. The kit can be yours now for 3.99 at Digi Scraps Drive-In!

Feelings

(You're singing the song, aren't you? Admit it!) Okay. Seriously now. Check out this new kit from Valarie Ostrom - called Feelings, of course. :)

There are a ton of awesome little labels in this kit, to express just about every feeling a person can feel...but sometimes it's still tough to think of just what to write, isn't it? Well, Val fixed that problem too, with Journal Jumpstarts:

I combined the two and made these:

I'm really loving the polka dot paper - can you tell? :)  Go check out both of these little kits - you'll adore the journaling labels when you have a page in mind but don't know just what to say!

Daddy-Daughter Dance, Part I

I've been looking forward to the daddy/daughter dance that the local Girl Scout troops put together since they announced this year's dance in January...it finally happened, and now I have pics to scrap! I had originally downloaded another kit just for these pics...and then LawTeeDa Designs came up with Sweet Something, and I had to use it instead. For the first two pages, at least. ;)

So here they are, in all their dance finery...and I have more coming with another kit soon. ;)

That kit couldn't have BEEN more perfect for those pics, could they? (You can't tell it very well from his picture, but there was quite a bit of red in Gene's tie, to match Rachael's dress.) A little recoloring, and...perfection. :)  This kit is really quite well suited to any formal/dance/wedding pics, and who doesn't have those to scrap? It's only available at ScrapMatters (and only $3.60)!

Bliss!

I'm having one of those days where it's a little hard to feel blissful. One child not paying attention to her schoolwork, whining and complaining at the very existence of math, the other child crying because she's not the focus of my attention. It's nice, on days like these, to take a quick scrap break and scrap something cheerful. LawTeeDa's latest, Follow Your Bliss, was great for a little pick-me-up:

Here are a couple of less-stressful days that I scrapped with this cheery little kit:

*deep breath*  There, that really does feel better. :)  I used a template from On the Side by LePingouin Designs for the second page - that made it even less stressful! Need your own little dose of happy? Grab Follow Your Bliss for $5 at ScrapMatters, or some great templates from LePingouin at Digital Scrap Cafe!

Fishy Wishes

My girls have left a Sesame Street book lying in my bedroom floor for a good week now - I would have picked it up, but there's a sign on the open page that says "Fishy Wishes" and I just smile every time I notice it lying there. Just thought I'd explain that title...and it kind of has something to do with this post, after all. Check out Laura Burger's fishing kit, Fisherman's Dream:

This kit just immediately made me think of my dad's dad, Pawpaw, who's been gone for several years now...but who I never see a fish without remembering:

My little girl loves to fish too, although she's only been a handful of times so far. Daddy has, of course, bought her a pink fishing rod of her very own. :)

Got a fisherman (or cute little fisher-child) in your life? This kit has everything you'll need to scrap those pics!

Hippity Hoppity!

I'm finally getting around to scrapping a few of those Easter pictures! I found the perfect kit for them earlier this month at Digital Scrap Cafe - Hoppy Easter by Double Dutch Designs:

There are SO many cute papers and elements in this kit - I'm sure I'll be scrapping more with it soon. Meanwhile, here are two that I've done:

I had too much fun with the egg layout...is it obvious? :)  It was created with a P365 freebie from Moodyjudy Creations. If you haven't scrapped your Easter pics yet, go grab this kit! It's only $2.99 (for a TON of goodies) at DSC.

PJs and popcorn and a grand opening!

Okay, remember that alpha I was so proud of yesterday? Well, here's the kit it was made to match - newly released, PJs & Popcorn by Valarie Ostrom Designs!

Isn't it CUTE? And so perfect for all things girly? And only $4 at Scrapable! I loved the sleepover theme, since my older daughter is a huge fan of the sleepover:

My younger daughter...not so much:

I used a new template by Sugar Pie Scraps to make that second page, of Milly's friend Annika. It's new at Enchanted Studio Scraps, and also available in a set with two other fun templates. In fact, Sugar Pie Scraps is having a grand opening sale this weekend - go check it out and grab some scrappin' inspiration for 20% off!

I made a freebie!

I actually designed something, people! Granted, it's only an alpha, but I did it. It matches a great new kit by Valarie Ostrom that'll be out tomorrow at Scrapable. But you can grab the freebie today at her blog! :)

Dollar Day!

Bouquet of Pixels is having a Dollar Day sale today!

Be sure to stop by and check out the great sales - especially from my favorite BoP designer, Designs by Megan!

Up, Up and...

I made this page and absolutely adored it...before the designer who created the kit was found to have been taking graphics from other designers without their permission. So, while I'm no longer comfortable posting this one all over the digi world the way I do my other layouts, I still wanted to share it here. It was made with another awesome template by Sugar Pie Scraps, from Template Set 1. It's available in a set at Enchanted Studio Scraps, and individually for only $1.25. :)

Easter Eggs!

Yeah, I still haven't scrapped my Easter pics. But, I have done the day before Easter now, using Sus Design's nifty new bundle, Spring Fling:

This is such a perfect springy kit - and the alpha is just too cute. Click on the preview to see it all better! I did two pages of our egg dyeing adventures - the first being made with a template by Sugar Pie Scraps. She's new at Enchanted Studio Scraps, and her templates are available both individually and in sets - go check her out!

Do you still have Easter pics to scrap too? Go pic up the Spring Fling bundle at Bits 2 Kits for $9.99, and grab a few of Sugar Pie's templates to get you started too!

Crossing my fingers...and a CONTEST!

Okay, I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that my (incredibly computer savvy) sister-in-law doesn't stumble across my scrap blog...because I'm working on a first year album for her new little boy, and I'm going to share pages here along the way. :)  I paper scrapped an album for his big sister, and hope they'll like a digital version just as much. I did the title page a while back, and wanted to do two more of his first day/week...and Quentin & Emma by Graham Like the Cracker couldn't have been more perfect for these pages!

Here are the newest additions to his album:

Isn't he precious?  :)  I just hate that they're on the other side of the country and I've yet to meet him in person.

Quentin & Emma isn't just a boy kit - there's plenty of pink and girly elements too. Go check it out at Gingerscraps - you can buy the kit for $6, separate packs of gradient papers and alphas, or the whole bundle for $9.

Hey...want to win a $25 gift certificate to Graham Like the Cracker's store? Just create a page with Quentin & Emma and upload it to her Facebook fan page for a chance to win! :)

My sweet little niece...

...has changed a lot since I met her when she was only seven years old. She's still sweet, of course, she just has a look that's all her own now. And I thought of her immediately when I saw the newest kit by 3 Dog Designs, Punked:

No, not because she's a punk. She's not - she's gorgeous. But just look at these pics from last Christmas:

See why that kit screamed her name now? :)  I used another On the Side template from Le Pingouin Designs for this page - love these templates! You can grab them in her store at Digital Scrap Cafe, and the kit for $4.25 at My Life and Scrap!

Bear Hugs

Does your little one have a favorite teddy bear? If you haven't scrapped it yet, do it now while the memory is fresh! Here's the perfect kit for it, too - Bear Hugs by Valarie Ostrom Designs:

Rachael definitely has a favorite teddy bear. Stuffy has been scrapped once already, but it was time for an update. This page was created with the On the Side template set by Le Pingouin Designs, which will be released on Monday, April 12:

Milly doesn't have a favorite teddy bear - she has a favorite baby doll instead. Sadie was handed down from her sister, but she's very much loved in spite of being secondhand. Since Milly insisted on having her picture made with Sadie at the same time I snapped the one of Rachael and Stuffy, I thought I'd scrap it with the same kit and with the same selective coloring. This page is made with another one of Le Pingouin's templates, from Template Set Centered:

You can pick up Bear Hugs at Scrapable for $2.40, or Le Pingouin's templates at Digital Scrap Cafe!
