Bunnyrific!

That's what this kit is - Bunnyrific, by Designs by Megan:

Don't those colors just scream "spring"?! I'm gearing up for Easter this weekend by scrapping old Easter pics, so here are two pages from Rachael's first and second Easters...

(Those seem like just yseterday! *sniff* ) Get ready for Easter and pick up Bunnyrific soon - you can get it at Bouquet of Pixels for $5.50!

My world, my life, my rules...

I just had so much fun working with this new kit - My World, by Sara Ellis. I'll show you why in a minute. First, the kit:

So many possibilities, right? But the first one I thought of was based on something funny I'd read online a long time ago - Toddler Rules. And sure enough, I had a pic to illustrate them - and here's what happened:

Seriously, click on it so you can see everything and give it a read. It's just Milly, through and through. :)  Here's what else I dreamed up:

Awww, my babies. <3  So, ready to make a page that's all about YOU? Okay, it can be about someone else too. I'd love to see some more "toddler rules" pages floating around out there! Go grab My World - it's only $3.49 at Scrappity-Doo-Dah!

Here comes Peter Cottontail...

...hoppin' down the bunny trail...in ONE WEEK. ACK! I still have to buy new white shoes for everyone! Okay...deep breaths. I've had Easter on my mind this week - and how could I not, with all the great new Easter kits coming out? Like this one - Cottontail Lane by Valarie Ostrom:

In years past, we've done an egg hunt here at home for Rachael and her friends. We slacked off this year (oops). Must get back on the ball in 2011. But here are a couple of pages from our first egg hunt...

Aren't they pretty and pink and springy? I'm going to have to scrap at least one more page with this kit - there's just too much lovely, chocolatey brown in there not to scrap Easter morning chocolate bunny pics as well. :)  Grab it now and have it ready for Easter!

My sick girl...

No, not right now - everyone is perfectly healthy right now, aside from hubby's pollen aversion. But I've been meaning to scrap a few pics of my older daughter for a while, and finally found the perfect kit to do it - Double Dutch Design's Good Medicine:

Rachael spent five days in the hospital with rotavirus when she was two years old and, although it was a miserable week, the pictures were so cute that I always meant to scrap them "someday". So today is someday. :)

Just click on it to see the page full-size, and you'll be able to read. ;)  And if you want to have Good Medicine on hand the next time someone in your house is sick, head on over to Digital Scrap Cafe and pick it up for $4.99!

Flower Babies!

After stepping outside my comfort zone to do a couple of *gasp* boyish pages, it was high time for me to scurry back into the security of pink and girly...and Flower Babies by Bare Bones Scraps was just perfect for that!

Awww, look at the little red haired fairy!! But, both of my girls are blondies, so I used little blonde fairies instead. Can you find them both?

Sure you can, even though one of them is awfully tiny. :)  Got a sweet little girl of your own to scrap? No matter her hair color or skin tone, I bet there's a fairy in this kit that's just perfect for her page! On sale now for $4 at Digital Scrap Cafe!

More dinos!

I know, I've done lots of dino pages lately, huh? Truth is, I finally ran out of dino-ish pics of my girls to scrap, but I had to do something with Babysaurus, the adorable new kit from LawTeeDa Designs:

You see why, right? Isn't it SWEET? So I borrowed some boy pics from an online friend and did this:

It's just *almost* enough to make me want a little boy of my own to scrap...ALMOST. ;)

If you have one, go check out Babysaurus - it's only available at Divine Digital, and only $4.50 for a TON of cuteness!

Cheep! Cheep!

Yep, that's the sound a chick makes - a sure sign of spring. It's also descriptive (for now) of the awesome new spring kit by LawTeeDa Designs, Spring Breeze:

Cute, right? I knew I had to make this page as soon as I saw that little lamb:

And a nice Easter Bunny pic, since I don't expect to get one this year. Milly will be screaming her head off, I'm sure.

Spring Breeze is a new release at Divine Digital, and on sale now for just $2. See? CHEEP! CHEEP! :)

It's a bright sunshiney day...

Sunny and 70s - I'm not a hot weather person, but I can SO deal with this! If you're already enjoying spring sunshine too, check out this kit - Sunshine Garden by Sara Ellis:

Isn't that just perfect for a sunny spring afternoon? It was for this one (even though it was technically late summer...)

And plenty versatile enough to use for other things too:

It's just hard to go wrong with so many cheerful colors and fun elements in one kit. Pick it up at Scrappity-Doo-Dah for $5.49!

A rare event!

It's a really rare event that I both snap pictures and scrap them in the same day - and especially if it's not a big event. The pics I snapped of my girls playing outside today were certainly no special occasion...or was it? Spring is almost here, and they're certainly enjoying it to the fullest:

You'll undoubtedly have your own spring pics that need scrapping, so check out this cute kit by Red Genius Enterprises - My Backyard:

Cute, right? And only $4.99 at Digi Scraps Drive-In! :)

My Treasures

I'm so blessed to have an amazing mother and two wonderful little girls in my life...and every year on my mom's birthday, she requests a picture of the four of us. As much as I hate being in front of the camera, I treasure these pictures. I just love seeing how we change through the years...and here is this year's picture!

Check out the nifty labels - perfect for a family photo, right? I used Valarie Ostrom's new kit, Family Treasures - have a look:

With all the great neutrals and awesome elements and labels, this kit is perfect for scrapping ALL of your family members - and it's only $4 at Scrapable!

Almost Sisters

Oops, I'm a day behind on another great new release - Almost Sisters by Sus Designs!

Since it's intended as a kit for scrapping your friends, that's what I did with it first. I'm so lucky to have one amazing friend that I can always count on.

Then I thought I'd try a little something different:

Aren't those colors great? Pick it up today - it's on sale now for $4.49 at Bits 2 Kits!

Little Peanut

Happy opening day at ScrapMatters to LawTeeDa Designs!! She has a brand new kit in the store today to celebrate her grand opening, and I got to play with it. Check out Little Peanut:

I have very few boyish pictures to scrap of my own, but my friend Sara was kind enough to loan me pictures of her beautiful little boy to scrap with this one. Isn't he handsome?

Little Peanut is $5.99 at ScrapMatters, and a must have if you have a little blue peanut of your own to scrap!

Here's what my little leprechauns were up to today:

...and a little reminiscing to Milly's first St. Patrick's Day:

Dem bones, dem bones...

The girls and I went to Dino Day at our local museum back in January, and I took a few pictures that (of course) just absolutely required scrapping. I finally got around to that tonight, and could this kit BE any more perfect for them?

It's called Prehistoric Stories by Kimberly Cameron Designs, and it's currently on sale at Groovy Scraps for just $2. If you have any dino pics that you need scrapped, go and grab it!

And now, I present...Dino Day.

Reminiscing...

That's pretty much what I do, when I'm scrapbooking...look back through old pictures and reminisce. It seems like just yesterday that my girls were tiny babies, and now look at them - so big, so independent. They're constantly growing and changing, every day is something new with them. And I never want to forget a minute of it. Not even something as simple as playing on the swings at the park:

And certainly nothing as monumental as that first real friendship:

Like this kit? It's called Reminiscent (how perfect, right?) and it's brand new in Laura Burger's shop at Gotta Pixel. She's divided it up into four parts that are on sale for only $1 each, so you can create your own custom kit - there are plain papers, grungy papers, glitter splats (every girl mama NEEDS these in her stash!) and of course, the elements. Grab 'em now while they're new and on sale!

I've got the blues today...

...but in a good way! Check out Cool Emotions, a new release today by Sus Designs:

So blue but still girly - I love it! And here are my girls, showing off a couple of things you can do with it...

Gorgeous, aren't they? I mean, isn't it? :)  Cool Emotions is on sale today at Bits 2 Kits for just $3.74!

Tea Time

I spent weeks planning Rachael's sixth birthday party, down the very last detail...that detail being what kit I would use to scrap it with. Well, part of it, anyway. I found this kit by One of a Kind Design Studios before the party and absolutely fell in love with it - not least of all because I knew that the colors would match my china:

Keeping it in mind, I was sure to snap some pre-party pictures of the table settings so I'd have them to scrap later:

I don't like to toot my own horn, but I'm seriously loving this page. :)  Everything on the page is from the kit You're My Cup of Tea (on sale now at Pretty Scrappy for $2.39!)  I also used a template from Template Set Photoshoots by LePingouin Designs, available at Divine Digital.

Got a little girl? You're going to need a good tea party kit eventually...!

Baby Girl

Anyone who's visited this blog already knows that I have two favorite things to scrap...baby girl #1 and baby girl #2. Since I've been surrounded in pink since day one, I couldn't resist the opportunity to scrap something with the latest kit from Becky Young Designs - Baby Girl:

In the interest of fairness, I try to do one page with each of my girls when I'm working on something that I know I'll be sharing here...but I got a little carried away this time while looking at Amelia's baby pictures. (She's only two, but she's soooo different now! *sniff* )  So here's one with Milly at one month:

...and Milly at two months:

Aren't the colors in this kit great? Go snag it for yourself - it's only $3.49 in the store at Stuff to Scrap! (Thanks again to Becky for letting me work with this awesome kit in preparation for its release!)
