Super girly!

Okay, folks, bear with me as I work out some photo posting difficulties on the blog...but here are some more new pages in the meantime. You can always click on MY pages to see them full-size...unfortunately, I'm not sure what to do yet to make previews any less gargantuan. I'm working on it! ;)

As a testament to just how far I am...I finally finished up a couple of pages using the super cute June 2010 collab from Digital Scrap Cafe (still available for $4.99!), Girlish:

Is that not the cutest kit?! Here are a couple of pages I whipped up with it:

And then there's another adorable kit from LawTeeDa - this would be *perfect* if you happen to have twins in your life, but it's pretty great for siblings too. It's called Peas in a Pod - on sale now for $4.50 at ScrapMatters:

They're not twins, but my girls definitely fit the description!

Oh! Just one more using LePingouin's Big Pics templates (see previous post) and Tootlebugz's kit Petite Fleur:

Yeah, that's a good place to leave you for now. :) I'll be tweaking the blog, saying a little prayer, maybe throwing a few things at the screen...and then I'll be back with more!

Holy scrap funk, Batman!

I don't know what got into me...my scrap mojo just up and abandoned me, and apparently decided to take the whole summer off. Thanks to the lovely ladies at the JM Digi Scrap board and the Scrapathon they hosted this weekend, though, I've once again ventured into Photoshop and made a few new pages to share. Maybe I can stick with it, since I'm woefully behind on my scrapping!

To begin with, I backed up to LawTeeDa's Christmas in July kit, Merry & Bright, which is available at ScrapMatters for $5.99:

We actually had some SNOW this past winter! This page was created using a template from LePingouin's Big Pics set, available for $1.99 at Digital Scrap Cafe:

And then there's one of my favorite snowy days that deserved to be scrapped as well:

More pics coming momentarily, as the photo uploader sees fit to give me a hard time after being away for so long...

Oh my!

I've really been MIA from the scrap world this month! I've never done "scrap goals" for myself before, but I think I'll do just that for June, and see if I can't get back in the swing of things. :)  Meanwhile, here are a couple of pages from LawTeeDa's latest kit, A Day at the Zoo:

It's been two years since our last zoo trip - time for another visit this summer!

Have zoo pics of your own to scrap? There are soooo many cute elements in this kit (it hurt me not to use the penguin or the giraffe, so I definitely have more work to do!) It's only $4.50 at ScrapMatters - go go go!!

Kicking off iNSD!

Happy (inter)National Scrapbook Day...a little early. I think Saturday is officially the big day, but any digi scrapper worth her salt knows that this is a weekend long event. :)  The first of "my" designers to roll out something special for the big day was LawTeeDa Designs with her new kit A Little Bit of Me:

Isn't it pretty?! It inspired me to finally get back on track with Rachael's P365...I'm only a little behind where I ought to be now. (Oops.)

And since the name of the kit was just so perfect:

It's available now at ScrapMatters! :)

Daddy-Daughter Dance, Part I

I've been looking forward to the daddy/daughter dance that the local Girl Scout troops put together since they announced this year's dance in January...it finally happened, and now I have pics to scrap! I had originally downloaded another kit just for these pics...and then LawTeeDa Designs came up with Sweet Something, and I had to use it instead. For the first two pages, at least. ;)

So here they are, in all their dance finery...and I have more coming with another kit soon. ;)

That kit couldn't have BEEN more perfect for those pics, could they? (You can't tell it very well from his picture, but there was quite a bit of red in Gene's tie, to match Rachael's dress.) A little recoloring, and...perfection. :)  This kit is really quite well suited to any formal/dance/wedding pics, and who doesn't have those to scrap? It's only available at ScrapMatters (and only $3.60)!

Bliss!

I'm having one of those days where it's a little hard to feel blissful. One child not paying attention to her schoolwork, whining and complaining at the very existence of math, the other child crying because she's not the focus of my attention. It's nice, on days like these, to take a quick scrap break and scrap something cheerful. LawTeeDa's latest, Follow Your Bliss, was great for a little pick-me-up:

Here are a couple of less-stressful days that I scrapped with this cheery little kit:

*deep breath*  There, that really does feel better. :)  I used a template from On the Side by LePingouin Designs for the second page - that made it even less stressful! Need your own little dose of happy? Grab Follow Your Bliss for $5 at ScrapMatters, or some great templates from LePingouin at Digital Scrap Cafe!

Jammin'

Got a little music lover in your life? Singer, dancer, musician? All kids love music, and finally, here's a child-friendly kit just for them - I'm With the Band by LawTeeDa Designs:

I took a bunch of pictures of Milly with my saxophone when she was about four months old, back when her playroom board at JustMommies was doing the A-B-C photo contest. I used one of these pics for the letter J - J being for JAZZ, of course.  :)

I used another of LePingouin's awesome templates on this one - Template Set Blocks. You can grab the template (and three others) for $2.49 at Digital Scrap Cafe, and the great music kit for $4.99 at ScrapMatters!

My Little Munchkins

My Munchkin by LawTeeDa Designs has been on my "need to scrap with" list for quite some time now - and I finally made time today! It's an awesome baby girl kit, although she also has boyish and neutral versions in her store at ScrapMatters. This is the girly version that caught my eye:

The first page that I made with it was a P365 page for Rachael's first year. The alpha was a freebie from Just So Scrappy, to match her Love You kit:

What really grabbed my attention, though, were the cloth diaper elements in this kit. There's plenty of sweet girly things for non-CD'ers, of course, but being that I love my cloth dipes...

SEE?! I had to have it. :)  I use LePingouin's Template Set Triples for that one too. Go check 'em out!

More dinos!

I know, I've done lots of dino pages lately, huh? Truth is, I finally ran out of dino-ish pics of my girls to scrap, but I had to do something with Babysaurus, the adorable new kit from LawTeeDa Designs:

You see why, right? Isn't it SWEET? So I borrowed some boy pics from an online friend and did this:

It's just *almost* enough to make me want a little boy of my own to scrap...ALMOST. ;)

If you have one, go check out Babysaurus - it's only available at Divine Digital, and only $4.50 for a TON of cuteness!

Cheep! Cheep!

Yep, that's the sound a chick makes - a sure sign of spring. It's also descriptive (for now) of the awesome new spring kit by LawTeeDa Designs, Spring Breeze:

Cute, right? I knew I had to make this page as soon as I saw that little lamb:

And a nice Easter Bunny pic, since I don't expect to get one this year. Milly will be screaming her head off, I'm sure.

Spring Breeze is a new release at Divine Digital, and on sale now for just $2. See? CHEEP! CHEEP! :)

Little Peanut

Happy opening day at ScrapMatters to LawTeeDa Designs!! She has a brand new kit in the store today to celebrate her grand opening, and I got to play with it. Check out Little Peanut:

I have very few boyish pictures to scrap of my own, but my friend Sara was kind enough to loan me pictures of her beautiful little boy to scrap with this one. Isn't he handsome?

Little Peanut is $5.99 at ScrapMatters, and a must have if you have a little blue peanut of your own to scrap!

Guess who's coming to Scrap Matters?!

Just a few more days - be sure to go and check out her awesome designs (and snag 'em cheap, too!)

Party Time!

December through February seems like one non-stop birthday around here...Milly, Gene, my mom, Rachael, bambambam, one right after the other. So it took the release of a new birthday kit by one of my favorite designers to make me finally scrap a few birthday pictures:

Yep, there's nothing like a pink and brown cupcake-y kit to make me sit down and scrap some party pics. Have some of your own that need scrapping? Check out Make A Wish by LawTeeDa Designs:

It's new at Divine Digital for only $3.00! And, to be completely fair, I should mention that there's a boy version over there as well. ;)

Funky Love

Yes, my girls are sugar and spice and everything nice...but already, I can tell there's a little bit of a dark undercurrent there too. A little bit of a rock 'n roll attitude under the frilly prissiness. That's why Funky Love from LawTeeDa Designs really jumped out at me:

Yep, I'm definitely going to have to scrap pictures of Rachael in her black t-shirt with the pink sparkly skull using this kit. But in the meantime, here's what I've done with it:

LOVE some pink and black! If you do too, head on over to Divine Digital and grab this kit (linked above) - it's only $3 and perfect for whatever attitude you need to scrap!

A new CT!

I woke up this morning to a lovely surprise in my inbox - I was accepted to not one, but two more wonderful designers' creative teams! I'll tell you all about one tonight, and save the other for tomorrow night. :)

The first one is one whose creations I've been drooling over for a while now - LawTeeDa Designs! Oh my gosh, if you have a little girl, you must go look at her store. There are quite a few that I just can't wait to get my hands on. (Darn hubby's rotten layoff, or I'd have had them already!) So today, I played with the kit Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Here's a preview:

And here's what I did with it:

Ahhh, both of my girls in tutus! I'm so in love with this kit.

The Tiny Dancer page was made using a template from the White Space set by LePingouin Designs - more of those coming soon, too!

In only semi-scrap-related news...today is my little girl's sixth birthday!! Needless to say, birthday pictures will be showing up in my layouts soon. :)
